Angus Rowe MacPherson
Angus is an award-winning photographer from the Canadian high arctic. His images are atmospheric and kinetic narratives. His characters are cast and the environments are constructed (you’ll see fog machines and at least one fake ham). The results are scenes from an alternate universe - similar to ours, but slightly surreal, funny, and vibrating with energy.
Recent projects include a large-scale study of independent wrestlers, a staged underground table tennis showdown, portraits of prominent drag queens, and stylized explorations of daily life.
